News from the competition
15 December 2009 was the deadline for applications to the 62nd year of the Competition. The Prague Spring head office received 105 applications for the trumpet category and 66 for the violin category. The Competition organizers are now deciding when the advance round should take place, and we shall soon inform you of its results.
Most candidates in the violin category come from the Czech Republic, South Korea, and Russia. The candidates in the trumpet category come from all over Europe and also from Brazil and Venezuela.
